Engine & RIT Assist to 45

During the afternoon hours, crews from 17 were dispatched to assist Fallowfield Fire & Rescue, Dept 45, with a structure fire. Within minutes, 17-1 responded with a crew of 6, and shortly after 17-8 responded with Chief and “10” to assist Dept 5 with RIT. 17-1 laid in from Crystal Lake Rd, with Engine 89 finishing the split lay to the dry hydrant to establish water supply. 17-1 crew assisted with fire attack while 17-8’s crew set up RIT staging. Crews operated on scene for a few hours assisting with overhaul and investigation.
